What is the difference between a 2 way and a 3 way shower mixer?
The diverter. A 2 way mixer feeds two outlets — typically the rain head and the handset. A 3 way adds a third outlet, for a body jet, a bath filler or a second handset.
What does thermostatic control actually do?
It holds the water at the temperature you set, even if pressure changes elsewhere in the house. It is also a safety feature: if the cold supply fails, the valve shuts the flow down rather than running hot.
Will these mixers work with my water pressure?
Thermostatic riser kits need reasonable balanced pressure to perform well, so the answer depends on your system — combi, unvented or gravity fed. Tell us which you have when you enquire and we will confirm the right specification.
What finishes are available?
Brushed brass and chrome, in square and round profiles. Four of the six mixers are brushed brass and two are chrome, so a scheme can be matched either way.
