Shower with a fixed glass side panel in a white gloss panelled bathroom

Shower Doors & Enclosures

Shower Side Panels

The return panel that turns a single door into a corner enclosure. Same 6 mm glass, same 1850 mm height and the same chrome profile as the doors, so the two read as one piece of glass rather than two products bolted together.

FAQ

Shower doors, answered.

Anything not covered here? Send the question through the enquiry form and you will have an answer the same working day.

What glass do DB Homés shower doors use?

Every door, panel and enclosure in the range uses 6 mm toughened safety glass with an easy clean coating, at a height of 1850 mm, in a premium chrome finish.

Which door should I choose for a small bathroom?

A bifold. It folds in on itself as it opens, so nothing swings out into the room — important when a basin or WC sits close to the tray. A sliding door is the alternative where the opening is wider than 1000 mm.

What is the difference between a sliding door and a quadrant?

A sliding door closes a single opening, normally in a recess between two walls. A quadrant is a complete corner enclosure with a curved front and twin sliding doors, and it needs a matching quadrant tray.

Do I need a side panel?

Only for a corner installation. A door fitted in a recess between two finished walls does not need one; a door on an open corner does, and the side panel is specified to the tray depth.

How much do the doors cost?

Doors are priced per project, with trade pricing for developers, installers and showrooms. Send the codes or the opening sizes you need through the enquiry form and we will come back with a quotation.

How do I keep the glass clear?

The easy clean coating sheds most water and limescale on its own. Squeegee the glass after use and wipe it down with a mild cleaner; avoid abrasive pads, which damage the coating.
